The Italy Utah Cooperation Center's main strength originates from the collective experience, skills and passion of its professionals and has lined up a team that allows it to work to accomplish its mission.
Directive Council
The Italy Utah Cooperation Center Directive Council is made up of individuals from companies with strong Utah interests. They bring a wealth of business expertise from both countries. They represent a wide variety of businesses, both large and small. They use the services of external consultants or partners to assist them as needed.
The Council oversees the decisions made regarding the development, growth and management of the Center. It also provides the administrative control and coordination required.
Francesco Di Lillo, President
Francesco Di Lillo is an established professional in the public affairs field, working at the European headquarters of an important worldwide Christian religious organization. Since May 2011, he is also President of the Italy Utah Cooperation Center, that he co-founded. Before taking up these positions he practiced public affairs and public information in Cyprus with the Italian Embassy, the United Nations Development Program, and finally with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. He holds a master degree in Theory of Communications from the University Roma Tre, graduating cum laude, and a master in International Relations and Human Rights Protection from the Societa’ Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale. Currently, he is also involved in several international projects.
Loris Facchinetti, Vice-president (Italy)
Loris Facchinetti, Vice-president and co-founder of the Italy Utah Cooperation Center, is an expert in communications and resource management. For more than 25 years he has been leading important organizations and associations involved in the protection of human and civil rights in several totalitarian countries. Since the mid 1980s he dedicated himself exclusively to the improvement of quality of life of less fortunate people and he has been advisor on social policies to several important Institutions, among which the Chamber of Deputies and other leading companies across multiples sectors. He has been, and still is involved in social and health related activities in humanitarian emergencies in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. His past and current assignments include: former Delegate of the Mayor of Rome for Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean - Science and Culture; External Relations Director for the scientific research institute OASI-IRCCS di Troina (Enna); President of the Institute of Technology and Medicine – TECNOM International; Vice-president of the “Istituto di Medicina Solidale” ONLUS; and President of the Health and Social Commission and co-founder of the Mount Sinai International Foundation. Loris Facchinetti is also Co-coordinator of the Task Force “Empowering Victims, Engaging and Trasforming Perpetrators” of the Council for Dignity, Forgiveness, Justice and Reconciliation.
Elizabeth Goryunova, Vice-president (Utah)
Elizabeth Goryunova joined the Directive Council of the Italy Utah Cooperation Center as Vice-president in October 2011. She also serves as the Executive Vice President and COO for the World Trade Center Utah where she is responsible for the organization’s operations and strategic development, collaborative agreements with international business entities, directs educational programs and events and is involved in client consultations. Elizabeth has been recently appointed as a Private Sector Liaison Officer to the World Bank Group, in that capacity she will help Utah businesses and businesses throughout the Intermountain West gain access to projects funded by the World Bank in developing countries. She also serves as Director of International Relations for the Salt Lake Chamber, responsible for the international business development services for Chamber members. She builds collaborative relationships with chambers of commerce and business associations outside of the United States and oversees Chamber international hosting and events.
Alessandro Dini Ciacci, General Secretary
Alessandro Dini Ciacci, one of the co-founders of the Italy Utah Cooperation Center, is a young and talented business. While studying both in Italy and abroad at Brigham Young University-Idaho (USA) he has pursued success in different fields. Today Alessandro owns and is president of a design and production studio that creates high end fabrics for both the interior design and fashion industries. Alessandro is also the national director of the translation and interpretation office of a large American multinational corporation.

Nicolas Giusti, Musical Arts Advisor
Pianist, Composer and Orchestra Conductor. He studied with Gianandrea Gavazzeni, Mario Gusella e Peter Maag, Aldo Clementi e Franco Donatoni, Antonio Tonini with whom he has collaborated for six years. Winner of numerous contests. He has worked by the side of J. Anderson, M. Bacelli, R. Blake, C. Bartoli, F. Bonisolli, R. Bruson, E. Dara, M. Devia, P. Domingo, P. Mazzocchetti, L. Nucci, Katya Ricciarelli, L. Serra G. Taddei and with other great names such as: R. De Simone, A. Jordan, G. Menotti, L. Squarzina, S. Segalini, E. Stinchelli, F. Zeffirelli and many others. Various official networks have dedicated ample airtime to his compositions and performances: RAI, BBC, RTSI of Switzerland, channel one of Turkish Television, TBE of Spain, and others including Portuguese, French, and German television. Professor of the Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca (Istituto di Alta Cultura) di Pescara for more than 20 years. During his career, he has also taught various master courses throughout all of Europe. Among the orchestras directed we remember: Nat. Phil. Orch. of Moldova, Nat. Phil. Orch. of Prague, Theater Orch. of Izmir, AMIT Orch. of Roma, Intern. Orch. of Italy, Nat. Orch. of Portugal, Symph. Orch. of Plovdiv theater, Orch. of Sofia Theater, Phil. Orch. of G. Paola Bidinelli Giusti, Literature and Cultural Advisor
Her training is in music, painting, theatre, and literary arts. After studying at the Music Conservatory and Academy of Arts, she went on to earn a degree in Literature and Semiotics. As a Lyrical Soprano she has won numerous competitions and has worked in theatrical, opera, and prestigious concert productions for ten years. As a painter she presented her works in major international exhibitions and some of these were acquired by Taiwan International Museums of Art and Paris International Gallery of Art. She has authored poems, narratives, essays and winner of numerous literary awards in Spoleto, Ragusa, Milano, Napoli, Pavia, Roma, Genova, Teramo, Sanremo, Cuneo. She works as critical rewiews of poetic, musical and theatrical texts and she has published texts about the analysis of the lyrical didactics. As researcher of languages and media behavior she has collaborated with magazines of both Italian and foreign cultures and with University Institutes. By request of the European Community she has worked with the Italian Chamber of Deputies as a writer of a book on water crisis. As a author and artistic consultant she collaborates with numerous theatrical and musical productions always receving the awards of “Best Show” and “Best Protagonist Actor”. On commission, she is the editor for various publications. Currently she works on Christian themes: the Atonement of Jesus Christ, the darkness of sin, the divine role of the women. She worked with conductors, singers, voice actors, and actors among the most important in the Theatrical Panorama. She is an honorary member of the UIL Cultura section of Rome.

Elisabetta Rampelli, Legal Counsel
Elisabetta Rampelli is a Court of Cassation lawyer in Rome. She is the National Coordinator of the Forensic Italian Association and a former member of the Commission for the Reform of the Italian Civil Code instituted by the Ministry of Justice and member of the Council of the United Organism of the Bar.
